searching for regmarks in wrong place, possibly offset related

I have been having a recurring issue where the first cut comes out perfectly, but then when I go to make another cut, the software fails to locate the regmarks. Sometimes this even happens when cutting two patterns on the same page, without ever touching the cutting mat! As a workaround, I have "search for regmarks automatically" enabled, but I have also set a position where I would like it to "start searching from". And it appears to work -- but then I also have to fix the x and y cut offsets. Today I noticed that, after adjusting the search position by +10mm, +10mm, I also had to adjust the x and y offsets by +10mm, +10mm. I suspect this is related somehow -- is there somewhere in the code that the offset is being saved and then double-counted?

I've found a workaround. Adjust the numbers under "search for regmarks automatically" until the cutter finds the first regmark. Then, adjust the numbers under "offset" appropriately. So if your regmark is actually at x=10 y=10, but the cutter only detects it when you search at x=16 y=16, then set your offset to x+6 y+6.

I think there's probably a way to fix this in software. Maybe the searching routine is giving up when it shouldn't? I may look into this later, but if you know how to fix it then be my guest.

I have the same problem, and use a combination of regmark offset + global offset. One nice improvement would be to have only one box in the regmark section for adjusting the regmark offset, that would also modify the global offset accordingly.

May be related or not at all, but I noticed the latest version of Studio produces regmarks that differ quite a lot from the ones here now, the corner lines are far shorter, and the square is smaller, wonder if that's been what's throwing off my cuts.
