explanation of the appendix value

Could you please provide a explanation of what the appendix value of the generated _fbc value is good for?
The official docs only list 4 parts of the fbc value - you generate 5 with the js client library.

For privacy reasons, it is important to understand:

• How you generate it (input parameters and algroithm)
• What it is used for in further processing

Hi, thanks for the question!
Sorry for the confusing, we are actively working on catching up the missing docs.
The appendix is for param builder analysis. It will help us understand if param builder set data properly and send it back to us.

The algorithm is the same among all languages, example php. It combined data for what languages of the SDK, which version is that, is this a new data into the string.

Since the use of you builder, my leads are not getting tracked properly and I see a warning, that the clickid gets modified.

We are still working on open source it, hopefully the process won't take too long. Before that, one option you could cache existing version as a snapshot :) But up to your choice.
