Can third-party DAT apps detect the physical capture button press on Meta smart glasses?

Hi,

I’m using the Meta Wearables Device Access Toolkit (Android).

Is it possible for a third-party app (custom app) to detect when the user presses the
physical capture button on the Meta smart glasses?

I can start camera streaming and take photos using the SDK,
but I don’t see any API or callback for the glasses button itself.

Is this supported or not?

Hi - use of the capture button isn't supported at this time. In terms of physical inputs, we do support the ability to pause, resume and stop your streaming session using taps on the glasses arm: https://wearables.developer.meta.com/docs/build-overview#overview
