Unable to connect Meta Ray-Ban Gen 2 glasses – redirected to Meta AI app but nothing happens

Description

When trying to connect my Meta Ray-Ban Gen 2 glasses using the example app, I am redirected to the Meta AI app.
However, after clicking "Connect", nothing happens and the connection never completes.

I observe the same behavior when using my own custom app.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the example app
2. Start the glasses connection flow
3. Get redirected to the Meta AI app
4. Tap "Connect"
5. Nothing happens (no error, no connection)

Expected Behavior

The glasses should successfully connect to the app after confirming the connection in the Meta AI app.

Actual Behavior

• The Meta AI app opens correctly
• Tapping "Connect" does nothing
• No error message or feedback is shown
• The app never receives a connection result

Devices & Environment

• Glasses: Meta Ray-Ban Gen 2
• Android devices tested:
  • POCO phone – Android 14
  • Pixel 9 – Android 16
• Meta AI app: latest version from Play Store
• Glasses status: factory reset performed before testing

Additional Notes

• Issue occurs consistently on both devices
• Factory reset of the glasses did not resolve the problem
• Happens with both the example app and a custom implementation
