Confusion about GPU compatibilty on Windows

Hi Faiss Admin Team / Community,
For one of our upcoming project at our institute , we are planning to use FAISS (on C++ with GPU support).

However, from the Installation README (https://github.com/facebookresearch/faiss/blob/main/INSTALL.md), I understood that one can't have a GPU compatible version of FAISS running on a Windows machine.
Even if one wants to build from source, he/she needs to do it on Linux(or WSL) instead.

Is that right ? OR is there a workaround ?
