"Select a folder and generate thumbnails" should not block the UI

There should probably be another process for thumbnailing that runs in the background.

You are perfectly right.

I added this option very quickly to allow Cover Thumnailer to work with latest Nautilus version, because it is better than nothing. If someone make a PR to fix this I will merge it and release a new version of the software, but I cannot do it myself any time soon: I have no more time to work on this project. :)

Completely fair enough, feel free to close this, or alternately leave it open and maybe I'll get time for it, but probably not for quite a while either !
