I'm considering using this library in a production environment for my app and would love to hear about any experiences with it under heavier loads, beyond testing conditions. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! I'm hoping to use this solution to avoid paying $500+ per month for chat services.
Thank you :)
P.S. I know this library was designed for prototyping, but I’m keen to hear about real-world experiences.

hello! I will be deprecating this library soon as creating a single Firebase library for all different use cases people have proved to be very challenging. I will make this an example instead. The core of this library if you strip all customisations and stuff is like 200-300 lines of code so you can easily write it yourself and you will be in charge of your bill :)
some people mention that I read way to much here so it might prove costly in production.
currently I am focused on v2 of the flutter_chat_ui library and I am also in contact with authors of Riverpod, hopefully eventually we will have some nice alternative to $500+ services, but it is still in the works.

How exciting! Wishing you smooth coding ahead, and thank you for the library that has saved people millions of dollars! Keep up the great work!
