Change editor/author on organisations

Is there a simple way of changing the "owner" of an organisation? I created most of them via cut and paste etc. I want to hand them over to the organization's users now so that they can update and edit them in the future. cannot see a way of editing the author. Will it have to be via adding in a new user and making them an admin person?
