I enjoy the extension, it is a great successor to pop‐shell. The only thing that slightly irks me is the way that borders are forced around active windows and the fact that the activities overview has a fixed red color for the search field and themes the border around the selected window there. My personal opinion is that theming should be left to Gnome or specific applications dedicated to theming (e.g. Gradience). Is there a way to turn any of this off? Gnome already dims inactive windows, I don’t really need all the fancy UI. And I just noticed that even single windows in a workspace have a border on the right side, haven’t found a way to turn this off either. |

Hi @luetage - what version (extensions gnome dot org) or branch/commit are you using? I removed the theming a long time ago (#147) except the preview hint for drag-n-drop and acive hint/border (which can be turned off using
Do you have a screenshot of this? |

The extension manager shows version 67 for Forge. I’m currently on Gnome 44.1, but I was previously on Gnome 43 and it looked the same. The only thing that changed is a double border in the activities overview on the search element. And you are right, it’s not a border for single windows. I only assumed it was because I changed the border color to blue and have a blue background, but I reset all Forge theming and it turns out it’s just a ~3px gap on the right side. Don’t know what’s causing this, but I don’t have it on default Gnome or any other tiling extension I tried. |

Thanks, I noticed there was a .bak stylesheet in there, maybe this was messing with things. The theming is gone from the activities overview, but the active window in a tiling situation still has a border; and the gap I spoke of is now definitely a border, because it has turned yellow after a logout/login. Nevermind, all of this can be turned off with super+x, thanks for your help! |

Can you try to delete the following folder? Forge will recreate it as necessary:
$HOME/.config/forge/stylesheet/forge
