I wanted to start a discussion about the idea of expanding Forward Email's offerings to include features similar to those provided by SimpleLogin or Addy.io. I'm certainly not aware how all this forwarding and header's rewriting mechanism work, I think it was worth bringing up because there is a growing demand for privacy-focused solutions.
I understand that this may not directly align with your core business model, as any domain onboarded for this purpose would likely function as a forwarding only service, hence the interface for adding/removing/updating aliases would differ from your current setup, and there wouldn't be options for configuring IMAP/POP/SMTP for these aliases 🤔
However, I think that introducing something like this could significantly enhance user privacy and security, while attracting a broader user base.
