Currently, Frappe CRM allows quotations to be created from deals via a button that integrates with ERPNext, which is great for streamlining the sales process. However, there's no way to track related items within a deal that can be automatically included when generating a quotation.
In ERPNext's inbuilt CRM, the Opportunity doctype already supports item tracking, making quotation creation seamless. Having a similar feature for Deals would improve workflow efficiency by reducing manual entry or the need for custom scripts.
Proposed Enhancement:
Item Tracking in Deals: Ability to add and manage related items within the Deal doctype.
Auto-Population in Quotations: Ensure these items are automatically included when generating a quotation from a deal.
This would bring Deals more in line with the Opportunities workflow and make Frappe CRM even more efficient. I'd be happy to contribute if needed!
