There is quite a bit of ambiguity in terms of Full & Final Statement/Settlement. Is there a document/help to handle the F&F for a person who is resigning/resigned.
Let me explain the scenario here.
Employee sent a resignation on 4th April. Exit date is fixed on 15th May. I have withheld the salary (Salary withholding section) for April when I processed the April Salary for the org. Payroll entry for April month (created on 5th of May) had the entry for this employee with status as Salary Withheld (Salary Slip also says withheld). Now, I need to process the F&F settlement on 5th June which includes April month and May month Salary along with Leave encashment and also Gratuity (as applicable). I have withheld May month salary also since I did not want to process May month salary for this employee when I created Payroll entry for all other employees. When I created the F&F Settlement record, April and May month salary showed up (with Unsettled status). Now, guide me what is the next step to do? How do I now process the F&F payment to the employee and subsequent steps.
