Connect G Suite to FreeScout

In order to use G Suite email with FreeScout you need to create an App Password for the G Suite user.

1. Allow G Suite users to turn on 2-step verification

As admin go to G Suite Security --> Basic Settings and tick the Allow users to turn on 2-step verification checkbox:

2. Connect phone number to user's account

Log in as the Microsoft Office 365 user at https://outlook.office365.com/mail/. You will be asked to provide a phone number to which SMS with the code will be sent. Same phone number can be used for different Microsoft Office 365 users.

3. Create App Password in Microsoft Office 365

As an Exchange user go to https://aka.ms/CreateAppPassword and add an App Password. You can enter any name for the password.

Now you can use this App Password as a Password in FreeScout's Sending and Fetching settings. It may take about 20-30 minutes for the App Password to start working.
