Description
I haven't run a backup in a few weeks, but today I noticed gmvault deleting (presumably) all of my backed up chats.
I haven't changed anything in my Gmail/Google account but presumably Google stopped returning any chats in my account so gmvault is dutifully deleting them from the local backup:
Call Gmail to check the stored chats against the Gmail chats ids and see which ones have been deleted.
This might take a few minutes ...
Will delete 51566 chat(s) from gmvault db.
gm_id [id] not in the Gmail server. Delete it.
gm_id [id] not in the Gmail server. Delete it.
[...]
Has anyone else seen this? I have searched around and haven't seen anyone else talking about missing chats. I logged into my Gmail account and cannot find my chat history there either, though it's been years since I used gchat or tried to view them through my Gmail account.
I know this almost certainly is not a bug in gmvault but I am hoping this is the best place to connect with someone who is seeing the same problematic Google behavior.
