Copy over the changes in mixed and metric.mixed to the case of two data sets

Basically, needs creating/modifying xy_mixed and xy_metric_mixed to include the changes from the xx_ versions but allowing for pairwise dissimilarities between the rows of x and the rows of y instead of the pairwise dissimilarities between rows of x only.
