[Suggestion] Should the IPT provide more guidance for new users?

Sometimes it is quite difficult for a new user to understand the sequence of actions when publishing. The process may become further complicated when custom DOIs are issued and registered, or if errors occur. It is often clear why problems could arise and IPT can not only display an error message but also offer solutions or suggestions.

It may also be useful for a new user to activate the "help function" in which the IPT will highlight fields and/or buttons that need to be clicked/filled out and provide a detailed explanation of what is happening.

Also, links to the IPT manual can be added to pop-ups with information.

This is all just thinking out loud, any feedback is welcome.

I think all of those are really good ideas! I know is a lot of work, but it would be nice to have an updated version of the video Introduction to publishing using the GBIF Integrated Publishing Toolkit (IPT). With the new 3.0 interface and talking about the new data schemas, maybe in late 2024 so it can be more complete
