Compile errors when importing the project(s) in Eclipse

Describe the bug
Eclipse gives a lot of compile errors when importing the project(s). They are related to classes in packages javax.xml, org.w3c.dom and org.xml.sax.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Import the Maven projects in Eclipse
2. Build the projects in Eclipse

Expected behavior
I expect no compile errors, getting the projects set up in an IDE should be straightforward.
