Presentation of contacts on metadata sheets #1431
Description
I would like to request the addition of the ability to list multiple contacts within the metadata presented in the Datahub.
By default, the data hub displays the first contact listed in the XML file in the “about the data” section of the metadata record. The organization then appears as the data producer, even though it may actually have a different role in GeoNetwork.
As administrator of the GeoRhena catalog, I would like readers of the metadata record to be able to see the different roles played by the various organizations that contributed to the production of the data, as is the case in GeoNetwork. An organization can play several roles, and a role can be played by several organizations.
Below is a use case where there are several contacts entered in GeoNetwork (1 point of contact and 6 data managers): from the native GeoNetwork catalog and from the Datahub..
My suggestion would be to include a drop-down menu in the “about the data” section or another section, listing the different roles present in the XML. For each role, the user could then see the different organizations.
