[Feature Request] [Columns] Option to specify columns

Currently, the columns shortcode kind of automatically assigns the columns. But when wanting to manually specify the layout, the only way possible at the moment is using shortfode divs.

But since these aren't related to the columns directly, sometimes it confuses me or other users.

A solution would be to create a column shortcode, with which a column can be 'assigned'.

With this, columns also could be made more responsive when having multiple columns on desktop but wanting to only have one column on mobile

I assume this would require some sort of nesting logic, which is not available at present? Is that the so?
