Hello. Faced with weird issue, after installing the extension via the gnome-extensions install --force loginmanx@gmail.com.zip command, I see this error:

As far as I can tell, telepathyClient was removed in GNOME 46 [1][2]. So we should definitely remove it from our code base.

But please consider, that this project is merely providing TypeScript support for GNOME extensions. It is not supposed to be used as a drop-in replacement for the real GJS imports. In particular, the import statements in the example you gave should not import the type-exports of this project.

For instance:

import { Extension } from "resource:///org/gnome/shell/extensions/extension.js"; // <-- correct
import { Extension } from "@girs/gnome-shell/extensions/extension"; // <-- incorrect

Please have a look at one of the showcase projects, referenced in the README, to check how they use this project for proper type support.
