Hello @gkz && @EdwardBetts !
I found this project after looking into many libraries that could be easy and small enough to do type-check at runtime. I couldn't find any that could be as simple and straightforward as this one. I liked it so much that it inspired me to create one based on your concept. I noticed that it has not been maintained for a while so perhaps we could join forces. I also noticed that there were some areas that it could improve the overall use case, API and performance, so my iteration was built from the ground up to come close to your idea but with other additions that improves the overall experience and efficiency at runtime.
