Hyperparameter optimization examples

I'd like to make some examples of using signac in a hyperparameter optimization workflow. Below I have a list of some libraries/links that might be worth using for such an example. I'd like a "toy example" that also exemplifies signac well. Ideally the objective function is a little bit expensive to evaluate and uses file-based data, both of which are use cases that signac handles well.
