No such module - they/Samba retired it some time ago - at least on Centos, perhaps still possible to custom-build it. |

@lejeczek I'm not sure, we are still using it, a quick search on centos storage sig has the samba gluster vfs package as well, you can check here https://mirror.stream.centos.org/SIGs/9-stream/storage/x86_64/samba-417/Packages/s/ |

Yes SIGs do nice work with all those extra bits - however tweaking system that much out of defaults I cannot do with Samba - but yes, it's there also with samba version which is on par with distro's default. |

Hi guys.
I'm trying to have Gluster to serve Samba its shares - there has been no vfs module with Samba for a while so it's a "regular" fuse-mount - but it's almost unusable.
As soon as I start copying something onto such share, using cifs-mount, Gluster logs:

I fiddled with mount points - I mount with autofs, eg:
I'm hoping this could work and it's a matter of perhaps way to mount a volume + volume properties - anybody has that figured out?
glusterfs 11.2 on Centos 9 Stream.
