Hey, I’m vik - a French dev (living in Normandy) leaving my day job to tinker with Gno from a classic web 2.0 perspective, while learning a lot along the way.

For 15+ years I’ve been coding, hacking, breaking things to understand them, designing and scaling resilient systems, solving complex and weird problems, and building random hardware stuff to interact with.

I’ve got a few fun ideas I want to explore with Gno, so for now I’m experimenting and trying to make it work the way I need !

For another project I need to validate transactions on mobile, so I tried running gnokey-mobile.

I'm on Windows and using WSL, and I couldn't get gnokey-mobile to compile - either on WSL with a linked Android Studio on Windows, or by compiling directly on Windows (I also made a windows Makefile, but there are too many incompatibilities in dependencies for now - so maybe it's not worth investing more time here).

I did manage to build it remotely with Expo Cloud, and also on a fresh Linux computer - both worked. I've opened a few issues:

My project "PiaGno" is going well - demo coming soon !
It’s basically a real piano controllable from Gnoland:

• MIDI songs can be pushed to the chain by users and pulled from the chain by the piano to play them
• There’s a playlist system where people can request songs that others have uploaded
• It also shows a history of what was played and when
• And of course, it also shows how you can interact with real-life objects using Gnoland

Gnoland dapp : ~80% done
External web app (working with gnokey-mobile): ~80% done
Adena integration on the external web app : ~50% done

I'm really happy to be able to touch so many areas at once - gnoland - it's storage - gnokey-mobile - adena integration - learning a lot along the way !

While working on all this, I ran into a few issues and added them to their respective projects:
