It would be great, once #11 is done, to automate releases in some fashion. I have no idea how this is generally managed in the JS/NPM world, so any help would be much appreciated!

As bonus points, should this also get deployed as a GitHub package? Is there any value in that? Is there any reason not to do it? I tend to think that the more distribution venues for a package, the better. As long as they're all automated.
