What region is data stored in?

I'm looking to analyze some of the datasets in gs://weatherbench2/datasets on GCP. I'd like to make sure the cloud VMs I'm using are in the same region where the data is stored for better performance. I certainly could be missing something, but I didn't see any reference on https://weatherbench2.readthedocs.io/en/latest/data-guide.html as to what region the gs://weatherbench2/datasets bucket lives in. Does someone here know what cloud region is used for storage?
