python-fanotify will no longer be actively maintained

Hey folks, my team has dropped our need for this package and no longer intends on supporting it. I'll update the descriptions wherever I can to make this clear.

You're free to still use the code, of course, but you might consider alternatives like butter which apparently has fanotify functions.

Alternatively, if you decide to fork and maintain the package yourself let me know and I'll see if it makes sense to link to your repo as an "official" successor (bonus points if you've sent a PR in the past).
