Clarification on UMP SDK vs. Consent Mode in iOS: Is manual Consent Mode update required?

I’m an iOS developer (Objective-C) integrating Google’s UMP SDK for GDPR/DMA compliance in the EU. While the UMP consent form works, I’m unclear about its relationship with Consent Mode for actual data control.

I through GoogleMobileAdsConsentManager UMP party pop-up window function is achieved, but I received a reminder in the diagram below. I'm very confused. What should I do next
