Web component

Hi there! Our team has enjoyed using react-day-picker on our React projects, and we'd love to be able to use this library on our Angular projects as well. Would it be possible to someday distribute this library as web components using a wrapper such as preact-custom-element so that the day picker could be used across frameworks?

We're looking into a web component-based day picker called Cally as well. It's promising but still at version 0.x. There are some Angular date picker libraries, but nothing quite as customizable and robust as react-day-picker.

Hi @rdebeasi, it would indeed be nice to support other frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.)

It shouldn’t be too difficult either, since most of the logic in DayPicker is framework-agnostic. The use of hooks could be moved to a react module, while the HTML rendering can be isolated from it.
