Why do previous month / next month use aria-disabled and not disabled?

I'm guessing there's an a11y reason behind this, but I'd like to understand it. In the month navigation buttons, if it's not possible to navigate forward or backward, the buttons get aria-disabled, but not disabled. Why is that?

Hi @IanVS, it's intentional to keep the calendar focused after the focused day gets disabled.
