What would you like Teleport to do?

Add a metric similar to teleport_registered_servers that tracks bots, client tools (tctl, tsh), plugins and their versions.

What problem does this solve?

Provide better insights into client versions prior to upgrading the control plane. Since auth rejects connections from any client two major versions behind there is a risk of losing functionality after upgrading the control plane to a new major version.

If a workaround exists, please include it.

Take manual inventory of all tools connected to the Teleport cluster.
