Active Forks ? Project Abandoned?

I cannot seem to see anywhere in the repo something that suggests this project is now in maintenance mode only, however at the time of creating this issue I see the last release was 6.2.0 (March 2024) and not a lot of answers to issues being raised.

Maybe the maintainer could provide an official statement on the status of this project before people continue to invest more time in it or adopt it in their new projects?

I've already checked for any active forks https://techgaun.github.io/active-forks/index.html#grid-js/gridjs
but there don't seem to be any so far.

If there is no response from the maintainer(s) can other people suggest any alternatives to switch to?
