Search per column

Is it possible to have a search bar per column (filter) instead of one search bar?

I remember this option was available in KnockOut. But I could not find it in GridJS.

I was going to ask for this feature but would like to add that to make the interface cleaner and avoid having a row just for column search the Column search field could be in the column header itself (onclick) and the sorting moved to an external drop down (see example below), maybe next to the search field.
