Hi,
I have installed seafile with docker in Ubuntu22.4 server and the client in a windows WS.

explorer_QVbaDN6QEW

As you can see in the image, it is beeing mounted with the host ip instead of a drive letter. I havent found any settings or configuration to adjust the mounting point, did I miss anything?

Is there a way of adjusting the way SeaFile gets mounted in windows? I would like to have it mounted with drive letter that I can choose.

Thanks,
Lucas

Seems like sometime back in 2020 some work was done to remove disk letter support
https://github.com/haiwen/seadrive-gui/tree/support-modify-cache-dir
work merged at haiwen/seadrive-gui@b6772f9

also here diskLetterAvailable() got hardcoded to return True
haiwen/seadrive-gui@c8a7518

so looks like the disk letter stopped beeing used since version 2 ...

Why was this done? In the win7 install instructions it can be seen that it was working at some point.
https://help.seafile.com/drive_client/drive_client_for_win7

What work could be done to re-enable this feature?
I would like my users to use paths such as S:\Shared with groups\someLibrary
instead of %USERPROFILE%\seadrive_root\<account_username>\Shared with groups\someLibrary

Thanks,
Lucas
