Problem

When troubleshooting and looking for a specific token serial, it can be very hard to look that up in Hashscan if the NFT collection is large. The request here is to add a feature to search by serial number of an NFT within a collection, OR feature to sort serial numbers in descending order

Creating this issue on behalf of Jesse Whiteside from Hashport,

Here is an example from Jesse:

https://sentx.io/nft-marketplace/hashgraph-name-service/20907
https://hashscan.io/mainnet/token/0.0.1234197
here's an example of an NFT for the HNS collection that I need to track down on Hashscan
The serial is in the 20,000's
Even selecting 100 per page will take me 209 clicks to get to where I need to go
It would be great if there were a button here to at the very least go to start from the end of the serials first
Even better would be to be able to search via serial number specifically

Solution

Potential options,

  • adding an option to query a specific serial # within an NFT collections - will require UI/UX design
  • adding the option to sort tokens within a collection in descending or ascending order based on their serial # when in an NFT collection
