Problem

Recently, we added support for automated backups. We need to update the manual volume snapshot restore runbook to reset the backups when restoring from a volume snapshot

Solution

  • Remove backup configuration in current cluster and delete all relevant resources
  • Reconfigure backup configuration once the snapshot restore is complete
