OS: Linux Mint
laptop: Legion pro 5
Kernel: don't know.
enclosure: ADT-Link R3GSGS m.2 adapter.
EGPU: RTX 3090
DGPU: RTX 3070
Egpu-switcher install method: I used the manual install method with downloaded binaries.
1st Issue:
After installing the egpu-switcher script, anytime I would reboot with the EGPU plugged in, after I'd make it past the encryption password of Luks, I'd get the mint logo as per usual, then the screen went black, with a little flashing white underscore in the corner, that's it.
2nd issue FIXED
I turned on Nvidia performance mode in the Nividia x server settings, after which, regardless of if I had the EGPU plugged in, the same issue would occur.
Fix: I went into recovery mode, and disabled egpu switcher, which fixed the 2nd problem.
I can confirm my setup works 100% on windows and there is no issue with the card itself.
