Notes

• This pre-release now has an installer. However, it does not create the Start Menu shortcut. This still needs to be done manually.

• The patched client is now called ThereEdge.exe.

Cleanup

• If you installed the 0.9.0 pre-release, you can uninstall Python 3.9 as it is no longer required.
• You can also delete the following files from the ThereClient directory prior to installing to start fresh.
  • BrowserProxy.dll
  • FlashProxy.dll
  • WebView2Loader.dll
  • There-Patched.exe
  • There-Patched.exe.WebView2 (directory)
  • Patch.py

• Create a new There client shortcut.
  • From the Start Menu, right click on the "Sign on to There" shortcut and select More > Open file location.
  • Copy/paste the shortcut to create new one, give it a pretty name, then right click on it and select Properties.
  • Modify the Target so it is using ThereEdge.exe instead of There.exe.

Testing

• Once this is all done, you can run the There client without using Flash or Internet Explorer.
