For ome zarr, samples from https://dandiarchive.org/dandiset/000108/draft/files?location=sub-MITU01%2Fses-20210521h17m17s06%2Fmicr&page=1 I tried https://avivator.gehlenborglab.org/?image_url=https://dandiarchive.s3.amazonaws.com/zarr/56509720-870c-4f43-ae41-7b75f9590722/ which never gave back and error, kept wheel spinning, and console logged

Avivator only works with data that is chunked in along 2 dimensions

You might try neuroglancer if you want something for 3D chunking

Thanks for the info! We might then need to think on how to encode that knowledge in our metadata and condition the services in the scope of

• Add https://avivator.gehlenborglab.org external service dandi/dandi-archive#2269

To resolve this issue, it might then be worth then adding an error handler to report to the user such a limitation upon an attempt to open such non-supported image type.
