I made an improved mapping for the MadCatz PS4 Drums that gets pro drums working #1236

Hey There,

I just wanted to let you know that I think I came up with a fix for the MadCatz RB4 kit for PlayStation to get the pro cymbals working. I would love if there is a possibility for someone working on this project to test it out. Please check it out on my github page: https://github.com/stefman69/Minatsuki-Pro-Drums-Plus

It's an add on for a previous python script made by yanagiragi and requires some files from the Minatsuki github as well: https://github.com/yanagiragi/Minatsuki

I also decided to try my hand at turning that kit into a midi controller just out of curiosity of if that was possible, so if anyone working on this project or that you know of has this kit it would be awesome if they wanted to test that out in a DAW just to confirm it's functional.

I was potentially considering for my next project attempting to get a real electric guitar working as a midi controller over DI through one of the very few options of guitar to midi conversion software, but that will have to be a future project when I don't have a newborn at home and if the software is actually functional enough currently to do that. Something that would be immensely helpful for that would be a dump of the raw input data from all of the buttons on a RB3 Pro Guitar Controller, but likely I won't have time to get around to that for a little while so there is no rush on helping with that, but figured it might be an interesting project to get the pro guitar mode as an option for more players.

Also I wanted to say thank you so much for making this mod. My Xbox 360 shit the bed about 6 years ago and I've been PC rhythm gaming since then. A drunk friend of mine broke two of the toms on my 360 kit though and I was looking for a cheap replacement and found a PS4 one a few years ago for $10, but up until now I regretted buying it because the pro drums only sort of worked with clone hero. Playing this has gotten me back into drumming after about a 3 year hiatus and it's been great with a new baby at home because it's not as loud as my actual drum kit.

Oh, one thing I was curious about that's maybe the only thing making me switch back and forth with clone hero. Is there a way to get all of the audio tracks running with the speed slowed down in practice mode like in clone hero? I have a really hard time staying on beat with just the metronome click lol. I tried to find some kind of option for that in the game, but I don't think there was one. If not, it's no biggie, because for now I think clone hero will just be my practice mode and I made a more functional python script for that application too.

If you have any questions or anything feel free to reach out to me here or on my reddit that's on my github page.
