I would like to request that the Home Assistant Android app exposes Music Assistant (or other audio sources from Home Assistant) as a native media player on Android.
Currently, when using Music Assistant, the system does not recognize it as an active media player, which means:
-It does not appear in the Samsung One UI media bar or in Android media controls.
-The system does not remember the last audio source after closing the app.
-Playback cannot automatically resume over Bluetooth (car, speakers, headphones) without manually opening the app.
The request is that the app allows Music Assistant to be treated as a native media player, so that:
-It appears correctly in Android’s and Samsung’s media controls.
-Playback can automatically resume when connecting via Bluetooth.
Thank you for considering this feature!
