Xiaomi dmaker.fan.p18 on/off switch always goes back to "on", even if the fan is off

After the update to 2025.6.0 the fan on/off switch immediately goes back to on when triggered via HA UI.
Switching on/off the fan works, on only if you "switch off the off but on shown fan and very fast switch it on again".
but the UI shows it's always on
