The problem

Today I came across a strange issue with my dmaker.fan.1c.
When I turn off the fan -either from Home Assistant or the Xiaomi app -it initially appears fine in Home Assistant. The entity stays available, and all controls are visible.

However, if I try to turn it back on or change any settings from Home Assistant, nothing actually happens on the fan. After about 30 seconds, the state in Home Assistant reverts back to off.

If I turn the fan back on using the Xiaomi app, it immediately becomes responsive again in Home Assistant and i can change everythig correct until I stop it again.

Has anyone experienced similar behavior or found a workaround?

Thanks!
