The problem

It is my first bug report: so please excuse me if something is missing or not filled in correctly

Overkiz Integration has lost the connection with the update of the Tahoma Switch to version 1.30.
Version of the box: 2025.2.5-6

Integration is connected to Home Assistant local - not cloud connected.

the connection sometimes is there for a few minutes:

it began in the last night. Some micro interruption you can see.
if you need a log, please tell me, how i can record a log. I have no experiences in reporting a bug.

Although I already did this yesterday, I unplugged the box again this morning for two minutes and then plugged it back in. Everything's been working fine since then. I'd like to keep this topic open over the weekend and report on Monday whether there are any more connection drops.

Unfortunately this is something we can't change most likely. The integration is not able to connect to your bridge via the Local API. I don't know the reason, but as you see the integration is able to recover from this issue.

When you connect to your box via the IP address directly and not the mDNS address, you might have a more stable experience.

is there a quick way to switch to IP, or do I have remove and re-add integration ?

@iMicknl I just removed and re-added, but it would not use SSL with IP, is this a known issue?

Yes, the certificate is not valid for a local IP address. This is documented and should be visible in the Config Flow (the form where you make this change).

I’m experiencing the same issue today. After restarting, I can no longer connect via the local API.
