Back and restore dashboard

Maybe add some information on how to backup and restore just the dashboard? Having spent a lot of time getting it to look the way I want I just made a mistake and deleted a bunch of content and wanted to get back to how it looked. I have full backups but is that the only way?

As far as I'm aware, there is no way to just backup the dashboard from the rest of Home Assistant. You could manually edit and go to the raw (YAML) format and copy the text out.

This might be a good candidate to check and raise a feature request.
