Upgrading to 16.0 seems to have wiped all but my most recent network configuration #6023

Describe the issue you are experiencing

I used the console to upgrade supervisor to 16.0, and it seems to have wiped out my all my vlan customizations except the last one.

I had several vlans exposed to HA for various accesses using the command below:

ha network vlan enp6s18 10 --ipv4-address 10.0.10.200/24 --ipv4-gateway 10.0.10.1 --ipv4-nameserver 10.0.10.1 --ipv4-method static --ipv6-method disabled

All but the last one was removed when I performed the upgrade.

This is what network info returned after the update. There's at least 1 missing VLAN and I believe 2. This is a significant inconvenience, as I hope you can appreciate.

I have restored the one I need, by using the console, but I'm concerned this will happen again.

From the "core.network" file in a backup - you can see the three vlans configured there:

{
  "version": 1,
  "minor_version": 1,
  "key": "core.network",
  "data": {
    "configured_adapters": [
      "eth0",
      "eth1",
      "eth2",
      "enp6s18.10",
      "enp6s18.20",
      "enp6s18.30"
    ]
  }
}

What type of installation are you running?

Home Assistant OS

Which operating system are you running on?

Home Assistant Operating System

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Add extra network vlans.
  2. Upgrade HAOS to 16.
  3. Only the last VLAN seems to be present.

Anything in the Supervisor logs that might be useful for us?

Nothing useful in the logs. It just did the update.
