Hello, people: A few years ago, I designed a carrier board for a Raspberry Pi CM4 using Horizon.
As you know, the CM4 connects to the carrier board with two board-to-board connectors. Since there are so many pins, I thought it would be better to create a single CM4 part that includes both connector sockets, instead of placing them separately. So I need a "parent part" like the CM4 that includes the CM4 itself and the two connectors, and while exporting the BoM or position files, they should be separated into individual parts. Right now, what I'm doing is creating a part that includes the silkscreen and pads for the CM4, and then placing the two connectors separately. Is there a better solution for this in HEDA currently?
