Question about Validation Data #224

We would like to thank you for your work and this amazing repo !!!
I would like to kindly ask you a clarification because we are a little bit confused about the .csv dataset files of NYU Depth V2 Dataset.
In Tensorflow 1 implementation it seems that there are train & validation .csv files for conducting the training procedure & a .zip file for the evaluation procedure.
We would like to replicate and extend those experiments with the usage of Tensorflow 2 implementation.
We have downloaded (some months ago because now the download links seem broken) the .csv files however there is only train & test csv files while the validation file is missing. We have notice that the test .csv file has the same number of entries with test.zip data .Is the validation performed on test dataset eventually ?
