Motivation

Activating previously inactive blocks using newly developing MeshModifier tools has problems with mapping stateful properties and displacements as desired. This helps to alleviate this problem.

Design

These are preliminary debug/fixes on the route to resolving problems in this new method.

Impact

Previous code will not be affected, while new activation methods will hopefully work.
