Full width for docs content

Hi, can anyone tell me how to make use of the whole screen for documentation content? Even when setting the params.page.width to full the content inside still doesn't use the full width of the page. Is there any setting to do this or any custom css to get it working?

In your case, the sidebar and table of contents currently function as transparent placeholders. You can override their CSS classes to completely hide these elements.

You could send a feature request for this to be configurable.

@imfing Hi, we added a feature to make documentation content span the full screen. The width control is implemented with a button and JavaScript, contributed by @longlin10086 and @kowyo in PR #284 and PR #287.

This implementation is not fully polished—for example, it won’t achieve true full-screen mode if the browser zoom level is below 90%, and it also doesn’t adapt when the zoom level is too high. Still, it might serve as a useful reference for addressing discussion #733.

I think it is cool if Hextra could have this feature which is more polished than ours.

In the latest release, you can now override the maximum page width through the .hextra-max-page-width class. This provides you with control over your content's width.
